Tips for healthy flying

  • Drink plenty of water before the flight to avoid dehydration.
  • Avoid alcohol and coffee; they have diuretic properties.
  • Don`t eat too heavily before or during a flight.
  • Have some sleep before the trip and during the flight.
  • Keep your hands clean.
  • Take your vitamins.
  • Get up and walk and stretch as frequently as possible.
  • If you`re prone to air sickness, ask for a window seat over the wing.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes for your flight.
  • Give yourself plenty of time to get to the airport
